MEET THE ARTIST. . .

I have had an interest in art as far back as I can remember. As a child, I preferred visiting art museums to other activities. I was born in New York and grew up in Manhattan not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Art where, to say the least, I became inspired by the works of renowned artists from all over the world.

I will paint any subject that inspires me. With still lifes, florals, and landscapes, it is the light illuminating the subject that inspires me. With portraits, it is the individual who captivates me.

I work in oil, pastel, acrylic, and charcoal, with the goal of expanding into other mediums.

I currently teach children and adults in my Lawrenceville home studio.

In addition to Southern Colours, I am a member of the Portrait Society of Atlanta, the Atlanta Artists Center, and Kudzu Art Zone.
